Next action: I plan on going to the Hillside Church of God and doing much of the same work with another group of people.

How am I doing? I arrived at Mater Dolorosa Church at 9 o'clock and met with Mary, who helps run the Second Harvest Food Bank. She informed me of what we would be doing and how everything worked. I was introduced to everyone that volunteered and other people that helped run it. Then the truck arrived and I helped unload the food and bring it inside the building.
        After the food was inside I helped fill the bags with food. When the bags were full, we carried the bags out to peoples cars so they could be delivered. I then helped with the clean-up by picking up garbage and throwing away the empty boxes.
